Pastor Joan Wilks
Was born in Jamaica and came to the UK at an early age. She accepted the lord age 12 and though there have been difficulties along the way she has held positions of Sunday School Superintendent, Mission Education Director, National Worker Children’s Ministry, and Women’s Ministry leader.
With a prophetic call on her life she has spent many years ministering to broken people both spiritually and physically and has led the life of job herself.
Pastor Wilks has a heart for communities and for many years she has been responsible for developing cell based ministries. She believes that God has called her for this end time to reach the unreachable.
Her focus are people who feel that church has hurt or let them down and with the help of the holy spirit support individuals through love and mentoring to develop a relationship with the lord.
In 2007 the lord called her to rise up a fellowship of people putting people first.
The word the lord gave to her was Zachariah chapter two which she has obeyed and is blessed to see God doing miracles daily in the life of the church as all members are unsaved and who wants a relationship with God.
With support from members of without walls fellowship the needs of the community are being met by meeting them where they are at.
Life has not been easy for her in the loss of two adult children, but with the support her children, husband, Son in-law and the brethren of Without Walls Fellowship Church; she pushes through with the strong belief that being obedient to the will of God means making sacrifices; her favourite scripture Psalm 124 .
Psalm 124 ....If the LORD had not been on our side let
Pastor Wilks is a qualified counsellor, conference speaker, trainer and mentor.
She has worked as a chief executive for many years and served her community in many voluntary capacity.
Her hope is to see the walls and barriers of church broken down as time is short for the coming of the Lord is near and the harvest must come in. She believes “It's a new season, it's a new day.
A fresh anointing is flowing our way.
It's a season of power and prosperity.
It's a new season coming to US”
